ITOH Blueberry Lutein uses antioxidants in blueberry extracts from Northern Europe to improve vision. You can obtain 250mg blueberry extract, 6mg lutein and 600 IU of vitamin A in 3 tablets a day.

Lutein is called a carotenoid vitamin. It is one of two major carotenoids found as a colour pigment in the human eye (macula and retina). It is thought to function as a light filter, protecting the eye tissues from sunlight damage. People use it for preventing eye diseases including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts, and retinitis pigmentosa. Multivitamins usually contain only small amount of 0.25mg per tablet.

Vitamin A is required for the proper development and functioning of our eyes, skin, immune system and many other parts of our bodies.
